Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

I have an almost 15 year old Welsh Terrier who was struggling on the hardwood floors…..what a difference the socks made! However, waited almost a month for them with no email explaining the delay – the company needs to work on communication. I went and bought another type and would have saved the money if I knew when they were coming!!

Well, my 14 year old lab loved them, but they don’t stay on, even with velcro straps, fall down and twist all over. So cannot really use at all. too bad because she was so confidant with them on! our whole house, all bare floors, now is covered in throw rugs so she won’t hurt herself falling. I tried 2 diff sizes and same trouble with both.

This is our second pair of the “booties” as the first pair wore out after a year and a quarter-can’t complain about that. We let our girl wear them down the street for walks at times if we forgot to take them off other wise she may have had them longer. She fought me putting them on the first time only. She realized immediately that she could run again like a puppy on the hardwood floors and was thrilled. She is very seldom running any more at 16 1/2, but she now needs them to get up and stay upright on the bare floors. They have been so helpful for her and seem very comfy. They are thin and flexible enough for her to have a natural feel to the ground, but soft enough to be worn for long periods of time. Just like a pair of socks. I can highly recommend this product.

They did not work for my dog because she dragged her hind feet they wouldn’t stay on . I tried everything to keep them on.

Our 15 YO schnauzer Smarty Jones has arthritis and dysplasia, and has had a terrible time on our tile floors as he ages. While medication has helped with inflammation we could not find anything to give him stability on the tile floors and he became very sedentary and cautious while inside, as he would slip and hurt himself. We tried other non-slip socks but they would either twist or fall off. My wife ran across Grippers and we decided to give them a try. After looking at us like we were crazy when we first put them on him, our beloved Smarty Jones quickly figured out he “had his legs back.” The entire first evening was spent literally running through the house- he was like a pup on carpet again! With the use of the Velcro straps the Grippers stay on and actually fit better in general than we had hoped. Not only did they give him physical stability but there was obviously a psychological edge as well- he has his confidence back and we are ecstatic! Thanks for a wonderful product!
