Best Non Slip Dog Socks
Please Contact Us for Sizing Assistance to Ensure the Best Fit for Your Dog
Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

Didn’t help with my dog. Slid down off foot too easily and she would catch her toes as she walked. She drags her toes a bit.

Micky is a Cavalier King Charles spaniel. He’s about 24 lbs and 14 years young but sadly, he started sliding on our hardwood floors. At first, we ordered size SM but they were too small. We couldn’t put them on. Dogquality sent M at no charge (very nice of them) and they fit. And, they do help Micky get up without sliding and walk easier. They are very cute on too.

Our Becca’s rear legs have become weak as a result of a spine injury. These socks keep her feet from sliding out from under her and make it easier for her to walk

They’re a little challenging to get on my dogs paws because he has long nails. Once they’re on they stay secure and are an amazing product! My 15 year old dog doesn’t slip on the hard wood floors or scratch them up anymore! The people at Dog Quality are very helpful as well.

I started buying Grippers for my, now 12-year-old Labrador, Winston, about a year ago. For the longest time, we couldn’t figure out why he would stand on the area rug in the living room and whine before getting up his courage to scamper across the wood floors to get to his bed. He’s always been prone to anxiety and quite a bit of OCD behaviors, so we thought he just had something stuck in his head that was causing fear of the floors. It was only when his arthritis got worse a few years ago that we saw that he was having a lot of trouble getting his hind legs under him, that’s when we realized the whining about the floors was probably part of the same problem. We put towels on the floor, tried a couple of other booties/socks and they only made him more fearful and less able to maneuver. The other socks would twist around so that the rubber part would end up on top of his feet, making the wood floor more slippery. Then I found Grippers on your site and gave them a try – it changed our world! The socks still twist a bit, but having the rubber sewn all around helps them stay in place and when they do twist, he still has the non-slip grip under his paw. He was afraid of them at first (of course) but once he got used to them, he loves them! Winston comes inside now and lays down and puts his feet out for me to put his socks back on. He only needs them on his hind legs so far but they’ve made a huge difference. I agree with one of the other comments that it would be great to have something that could be worn in rain and snow. But other than that suggestion, your product has brought peace of mind to my family and Winston. I am very, very grateful.

The size posted on website did not fit my chihuahua.

My dog had degenerative myelopathy, and flips her rear feet when walking, causing abrasive injuries on the tops of her feet. The socks protect the tops of her feet.
The velcro straps are imperative – otherwise the socks slip off.
The easiest way to get them on is by using a glass jar as shown in a YouTube video that I saw recently.
Thanks!!!

Hi Vicki,
Sorry to hear. We have fits dogs up to 115 lbs with our XXL including german shepherds, great pyrenees, and other large breeds. Most Rotties actually wear our XL. The socks fit much bigger than they look and will stretch so I encourage you to give them a few tries so you can see what I mean. You could also try our jar trick which makes it super easy to get them on. The video is on our product page after the main product video or you can see it here: https://youtu.be/OA9Nyav_SDQ
Thanks

I have an old ailing Golden- he is very large- we think some Pyr in him. I bought these in XXL and they are too small! I’ve searched all over for larger but to no avail! I can’t imagine that these fit shepherds, Rotty’s or larger breeds! I’m so disappointed because when I wrangled them on him, he was able to get up some much easier. But you could see them slide down as he walked. This is a great product though!
