Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

Good quality socks. Our 10-year old boxer has spine problems that cause her to drag both hind feet and slip on non-carpeted floors. These gripper socks allow her to get around without falling and keep her from wearing the tops of her toenails down to the quick. Really disappointed. No matter how tight I tried to fasten the gripper socks they slipped off after a few minutes. Would not recommend.

Good but unfortunately it isn’t durable enough to complete a single walk. They wear out so quickly, but it’s due to my dog’s Lumbarsacro Syndrome.

Rommel is 115 lb German Shepherd who is about to turn 9 years old. Our house is almost all laminate flooring and Rom likes to play indoor soccer, he is pretty good. He has big front paws (3.5″) so last year I got the XXL grippers for his back paws, as they are smaller. I did try them on his front but could not get them on at all.
Did I mention Rom hates his paws touched so the fact that he actually let me put them on his back paws made me believe he knew they would help him.
Well, I have watched him slip more and more with his front paws so decided to try something different. I found a hard plastic jar roughly 3″ in diameter and I stretched the sock in it then while the sock was in the jar I put Rom’s paw in. Then I removed the sock and his paw from the jar, the sock was on almost perfect, only a slight adjustment needed. The fit was pretty good. Rom walked around like he had clown shoes on for a couple minutes because he wasn’t use to wearing anything on his front paws.
Within minutes he had his ball out and ready to play soccer, no slipping, no sliding, no injury! Thank you Dog Quality for such a wonderful product!!!

As much as my senior dog dislikes it when I put them on they help her immensely. The Velcro strap keeps them on and the fact that the rubber bottom surrounds her foot, I don’t have to worry about slippage.
