Best Non Slip Dog Socks
Please Contact Us for Sizing Assistance to Ensure the Best Fit for Your Dog
Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

My dog bites at the Velcro and rips it and tears the socks off. And, she’s a mellow, 13 yr. old dog. The idea of the product is good, but it just realistically doesn’t do the job.

Have ordered these before, one of the better styles with respect to cut and fit.

Hi Marie,
Sorry to hear. We help tons of German Shepherds so I am very confident the socks can work well for yours. Would you be able to contact us so we can help resolve? A couple suggestions include placing the Velcro mid-way down on the socks rather than at the top and to help get the socks on easily here is a tip using a plastic jar: https://youtu.be/OA9Nyav_SDQ
Also the socks can be kept on while your dog goes outside as long as it is not in snow or on ice.
I do hope you’ll reach out so we can assist further.

These seemed like a quality product, but simply didn’t work for us. I have a GSD with Degenerative Myelopathy, and within 5 minutes of having them on they came right off. The velcro helps, maybe they would stay on 15-20 minutes before sliding way down and I’d have to pull them up again. But they are very tedious to put on, especially with a large wobbly dog. And taking them off/putting them on every time she went outside got real old real fast.

These slippers are working great for my 12 year old dog. She now doesn’t slip on the wood floors, she still gives me the look when I put them on but she doesn’t mind them. They slip on her rear feet really easily, the fronts are a bit of work especially with her dew claw

Hi Susan,
You don’t have to take off the socks when your dog goes outside. That’s actually one of the great things about these socks. The only conditions we do not recommend using them in would be snow and ice.

I’m sure these can work well, but not for our husky. She’s in and out of the house too much. We’d be taking them off and on all day long (we are retired!) I hate giving just a one star, but I guess they are best for a “house” dog.
