Best Non Slip Dog Socks
Please Contact Us for Sizing Assistance to Ensure the Best Fit for Your Dog
Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

My 10 year old pug, Bart, was diagnosed with Degenerative Myopathy a couple of months ago and has been dragging his back feet. These gripper socks give him traction on the kitchen floor and protect his toes from getting hurt while dragging. The Velcro helps keep the socks in place too. Very happy we got these little gripper socks

Hi Elaine,
Very sorry to hear. Our priority is making sure your dog has what she needs to improve the quality of her life so if the socks are not fitting we can easily resolve that.
I will say that the socks are quite deceiving in that they fit much bigger than they look. They also do need to fit snug and will stretch and with DM she is probably scuffing her toes making the need for a great fit even more important.
If our team recommended XL it was probably as a result of her weight and paw width so I do encourage you to try the socks a few times so you can see what I mean about the fit. This won’t impact your ability to get a new size but since fit is so important I’d like for you to be very sure. Here is a video with a tip that makes getting them on really easy and I bet they surprise you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OA9Nyav_SDQ
If you try them again and still feel they are too small we will make sure you get the next size up.
Please let us know how it goes.
Thanks again.

My GSD has DM, so wears shoes daily. The concept of these socks were great and after extensive research, . I opted for these. I was advised by the rep to get the size I got and they are too small. Needless to say they are sitting on the shelf not being used! My instinct was the right one and I should have gone with it.?

My pug-poodle mix guy is 15 years old and his back legs were sliding out from under him on the wood floors. He doesn’t mind wearing the sox,…I think he has figured out that they help him! They are a bit difficult to put on, but it is becoming easier with practice. So worth it! Thanks for the speedy service.

Hi Marcy,
Thank you for your feedback. The socks are primarily designed to provide traction on indoor surfaces such as tile, hardwood and laminate and while they can be worn outdoors, we do not recommend using them in the snow or on ice. When the rubber gets cold they become like running shoes which have no grip in those conditions. We do state this on our product page and place a sticker on each package so I am sorry you did not see this information. With that said the socks should not be coming off so easily so it could be a sizing issue. You may also want to use the Velcro straps around your dog’s ankles – midway down on the sock is the best placement. We would be happy to work with you on sizing so please reach out at your convenience.

I ordered two pair for two dogs , one large dog and one small dog. The ones I ordered for the small dog were way too small so I used the ones for the large dog on the small dog. Needless to say I need to send the small ones back. However they do not stay on the dogs feet when they’re outside running in the snow which is why I wanted them in the first place. They seem to be OK in the house but they don’t really need them in the house. I wanted them to protect the large dogs feet against extreme cold and snow. Plus they are slippery for the dog in the snow and on ice. Thought I would try them because I really haven’t found a good alternative. They are well-made and would probably be fine outside on just cement or dirt. They just don’t stay on very well but that’s the problem with most of the dog boots.

I have an older dog that has trouble walking on our tile and wood floors. These definantly helped But I did had to buy two sizes in order for them to stay on better. Front and back paws took a different size .

Very good. I believe the size was correct, but a little difficult to get all the way on so his foot is totally in the gripper part. I use them only on his back feet as he has hind leg weakness. (He’s a 14 yr old beagle.). He goes out a lot to *** ***, and since they don’t work well outside in snow/rain, there’s a lot of taking off and putting back on. You can tell a big difference in his walking on our floors when he has the Grippers on. He’s a lot more confident! Thanks!
