Best Non Slip Dog Socks
Please Contact Us for Sizing Assistance to Ensure the Best Fit for Your Dog
Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

The product itself seems like nice quality; however, despite watching the video on how to put them on my dog’s feet, they are still super hard to get on because I believe they are too small. I spoke to one of your representatives who told me based on the breed, weight and measurement of her paws…the size I chose is correct. My issue is that they are far to difficult to squeeze her delicate paws into. She’s old and has painful joints, so trying to force her foot into these hurts her. I would have asked for an exchange but I was told I would have to pay shipping (again). I do not think I should have to since I ordered the size based on your website’s chart. Instead of paying shipping I decided to just let them collect dust and eat the cost.

Sorry to hear. I would like to investigate this further. Are you able to email us to give us more details on what happened? While the traction the socks provide is only for indoor surfaces they should not be slippery outdoors. The only conditions we don’t recommend using them would be in snow or on ice since they do not provide grip in those conditions. The socks should help a great deal on your ceramic floors and sounded like they were helping so I encourage you to use them indoors to give your dog the stability she needs. If the socks have worn out so quickly perhaps from the use outdoors then we can discuss getting you some replacements to help solve the indoor traction issues. Please reach out so we can discuss how best to resolve things.
Thanks!

The fit was pretty good for my greyhound, except the front socks were tricky to fit around her dew claws. She adapted to the socks right away and enjoyed the stability they gave her. A few weeks after I bought them I was walking her on a residential street with the back socks on and suddenly her back legs collapsed at a curb. I was unable to get her up; she was very stressed out. I called my husband to come get us. I later looked at the socks. The part of the rubber on which she walks is slick. The rest of the rubber is still sticky. I don’t know for certain, but I’m guessing she fell because she had no traction. And since that time she has shown no signs of back leg weakness. Disappointed, I still need something to help her walk on our ceramic tile floors.

Hi Jessica,
Sorry to hear. Sizing takes into consideration weight and paw size and sometimes also breed so we always encourage you to reach out to us if your dog does not line up exactly with the weight and paw measurements for each size. If you could let us know your dog’s breed, weight and paw width we’d be happy to help resolve. Please ensure that when measuring width you have your dog standing and you measure flat across the tops of the paws not bending the tape down either side.
Thanks

Measured sizing perfectly as per your website. Sizing was way off when received. The smaller pair we have wouldn’t even fit any kind of dog they were so small. Wouldn’t buy again or recommend.

These little socks stay on well. I use them on my 12 pound Shih Tzu who can’t handle the cold outside. Once it gets below zero she needs something on her feet. I know that is not what they are made for. After trying many little boots that she hated I saw a you tuber using the Grippers for her dog. My dog doesn’t mind them being on her at all and walks normally. With the Velcro they stay on her feet. When it is icy outside I have to wear normal baby socks on her as these get slippery. I’ve had one pair over a year that she’s worn and I’ve washed. They still look like new. I just ordered a couple more pairs.

I love that my little old do can WALK with ease on our hard wood floors again with her cozy little gripper socks. I just wish they were mesh so they were more breathable. They will be too warm on her feet come summer here in Florida

I had to order a second pair as the first ones were to small. The sizing chart is tough to figure out. Although, the new size has worked great for gripping our hardwood floors.

These socks are excellent! We use them for trips to the vet where the floor is super slippery, helps to reduce anxiety about going there. And it took no time for my dog to get used to them either. Highly recommended!
