Best Non Slip Dog Socks
Please Contact Us for Sizing Assistance to Ensure the Best Fit for Your Dog
Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

I was hoping they would work. Big struggle getting them on. My dog and I said not for us.

They looked adorable lol we used under the rubber boots so they went on easier. She has long hair and it got caught before using these.

I was really hoping these Grippers would work well for my 15 year old yellow lab, but we’ve had a few issues with them. My dog tends to drag her feet when she walks, and that has resulted in a hole forming in the socks. We’ve had a throw 2 of the socks away in less than 2 weeks of use because they developed holes due to wear and tear. If not for this problem, I would have been able to give them a higher rating. We are continuing to use them, but my dog still tends to fall down multiple times a day. This is because of back-end weakness, and not actually foot-slipping. If your dog’s only problem is slippery floors, this product would be fine. But if the hind end is weak, this product won’t completely solve your problems.

Hi Steven,
Sorry to hear but what you described sounds like a sizing issue. The socks need to fit nice and snug especially because as they get worked in they stretch quite a bit which is what I suspect has happened with your set. There is a good chance that a size smaller is what you need or there could be something we can suggest to help the socks you currently have perform the way we know they can. If you could get back to use with a photo of your dog wearing the socks and the Velcro straps we can take a look and find a way to resolve your issue. We have helped thousands of dogs improve the quality of their lives with these socks and I am certain we can do the same for you.

They worked for a few days but then he started slipping again. It seemed like the sticky part became smooth. This is the third pair of socks if we have tried and none of them worked well. Shipping was also slow with no tracking.

I am ordering a second set best I have found. I purchased a set some time ago for my 11 yr old 115lb lab. He was having a extremely hard time on our tile floor. He is having trouble with his hips and knees. He is like a new boy playing again getting around perfect. I thought he would take them off as soon as I put them on but I honestly think he feels so much more secure with them on. I keep them on all day and take them off at night. (He sleeps in our room with carpet ?) very good quality, I can see if they aren’t the right size people would have issues. With proper fit you won’t be disappointed.

My Miniature Schnauzer, who is about 12 years old, had problems with his back legs, and cold not get enough traction to get up. However the Grippers have had a tremendous effect on him, and he is running around like a puppy. No problem on the hardwood or tile floors.

Great and very fashionable, that alone makes it worth it. When the velcro is on properly, he couldn’t remove them the slippers, though I can’t speak for other dogs.

Fantastic, we have a 12 year old Labrador and as she got older was finding walking on laminate and tiled floors increasingly difficult, she would slip and had lost her confidence to walk on these surfaces, since using these she walks everywhere with confidence and has a new lease of life, we have used them almost every day now for a few months and very pleased with the results, they do turn round on her feet but as the gripper part is all round she still has just as much grip, they stay on all day without falling off.

These booties are easy to put on and they stay on! They help my 16 year old dog get a good grip on our wood and ceramic floors. Great quality and I love the reasonable price too.
