Best Non Slip Dog Socks
Please Contact Us for Sizing Assistance to Ensure the Best Fit for Your Dog
Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

Our little Miss Belle is not as young as she use to be and have had a hard time navigating our wood floors. We tried another brand of booties but they made things worse. I came across the grippers and ordered her first pair but they were too small. I contacted these fine folks and they sent us a new pair and told me to donate the pair we could not use to a shelter… I offered to pay for the shipping of the 2nd pair and they said no.. that’s pretty amazing !! Belle is able to move around on her own again and back to standing on guard in front of the fridge. A big thanks from us & Miss Belle

Our elderly Border Collie has lost almost all feeling in his hind paws (he’s 14, 15 — who knows? he’s a rescue) … he staggers around like a drunken sailor. These socks are great — we ordered medium for just his back paws and they fit very well. (His front paws are much larger than his back paws, and per the specs, medium should fit them as well, but I don’t think they would, so it’s probably a really good idea to contact the sellers if you have any questions at all about fit.) We got four socks, though we put only two on at a time, which allows us to wash or dry or whatever, the extra pair when necessary. The socks stay on most of time, and with them on, he slips far less than he used to on our wood and stone floors. Plus, he can wear them outside (no snow or ice where we live), so we leave them on all day and take them off only at night. We do need to adjust them at times during the day, but overall, they work very well to cut down on his falling and to help him feel more confident walking. Really helpful — thank you so much!!

Hi Richard,
Here is a tip that makes getting the socks on super easy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OA9Nyav_SDQ
Also the more you use them the better you get at putting them on and as the socks stretch that also helps.
Thanks

Product does protect hardwood floors (reason for buying) but very difficult to get on dog. It may be that hairier breeds (i.e. Mini Schnauzer) add to difficulty. So, this product just doesn’t work for me. To improve this product, I’d recommend adding zippers to socks. This would undoubtedly make them easier to put on dog.

I have a 15 year old Maltese who has arthritis and hard wood floors are really challenging for him. Grippers have been a life saver. Once he realized he wouldn’t fall he ran around chasing his toy with confidence, which he hasn’t done in months. Great find!

My 15 yr old lab has been wearing your traction socks for 2 yrs. They keep her from slip-sliding away.

The socks are well constructed and definitely non *****. however even the extra large are a little hard to get on the front legs of my German shepherds. once they were on they didn’t mind having them on and helped them from slipping on my hard wood floors

Hi Andrea,
Sorry to hear but we are happy to help resolve. Sizing takes into consideration a few factors such as paw size, but also weight and even sometimes breed. Can you please send us your dog’s breed, weight and paw width so we can confirm the best size?
Thanks

I measured my dogs paws as instructed and the sock were way too small. Waste of money!
