Best Non Slip Dog Socks
Please Contact Us for Sizing Assistance to Ensure the Best Fit for Your Dog
Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

Hi Janet,
Sorry to hear but that does sound like a sizing issue. We help more big dogs than little dogs with our socks so I am very confident we can help your dog. Can you please email us letting us know your dog’s breed and paw width? Also if you have any photos of her wearing the socks so we can see the fit that would be great.
We have seen the difference our socks can make so I promise it is worth the effort to resolve.
Thanks
Ann-Marie

I had purchased these for a 55 lb. dog with nerve damage to the back end, making walking very difficult. They did not work. Each time she would start to get up, the socks spun around her back legs until they had worked their way off of her feet. I’m guessing these are more successful with smaller dogs.

I purchased these for our 14 year old Sheltie who has a weak hind end from arthritis. We were using other socks that just had tiny grip pads on them but he needed something much sturdier to keep from slipping on our hardwood floors. Grippers did the trick. He can even trot in them on the hardwood. They stay on well even without the Velcro straps. Grippers are definitely improving our senior dog’s quality of life.

Excellent. These booties were a great value and they help solve some of our old girl’s mobility issues.

I’d highly recommend this company, I actually ordered the wrong size grippers and the issue was dealt with immediately by Ashley. My dog can walk again I’m very pleased, keep up the good work guys.

Hi Theresa,
Sorry to hear. We would be happy to replace that sock if you could reach out to us. A good tip is to use treats to get their mind off the socks. For example, walking backwards while holding out a treat will get them following you and walking and soon will forget all about the socks. Also the socks once they are worked in will mold to your dog’s paws and they will notice them less and less.
I hope you will reach out so we can help resolve.
Thanks
Ann-Marie

Overall, it was not successful. I am not saying anything about the company or that they were at fault. The buying experience was just fine. However, it may say that the dogs have some adjustment time to get used to the socks, but our dog (black lab) had the first one chewed off within minutes. There has to be a better way. These socks did not work.

The socks are good, the design is good, I like that they’re dipped all the way around because they do twist a lot for my German Shepherd, and they also slip down a bit even with the velcro strips. They are a cute design and are easy to clean. I did notice after just a few days that the dip splits apart, but the sock isn’t torn or stretched out or anything. Overall, these have helped our boy get up from the floor a little easier and keep him upright if he slips on our laminate floor, so I would definitely buy more if we need them.

The product has allowed my dog with herniated disc ( numb and very weak legs) to be able to get up on hard wood floors. A life- saver!
The shipping takes too long.

before getting these grippers my poor Corgi, who has DM, could barely use her rear legs, especially on tile floors. Now she is more confident getting around the house on her own again. As long as she is pain free and mobile she will stick around to fill our hearts with her love. Forever grateful!
