Best Non Slip Dog Socks
Please Contact Us for Sizing Assistance to Ensure the Best Fit for Your Dog
Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

It’s not an exaggeration to say the Dog Socks saved our dog’s life. At 13.5, our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel’s back legs slid out every attempted step on our hardwood floors. We had to lift him up and walk him everywhere–it was like he was on ice skates. He was fine on carpet and outdoors but unfortunately, our entire house is wood. We thought "Do you put an otherwise healthy dog down because they can’t walk on your floors?" Our answer was "maybe?" because carrying him around our house was not a tenable long-term situation. We wanted to try everything first and finally found these socks. LIFE SAVER. They don’t bother him one bit (and he’s a dog that HATES his feet groomed or toes clipped) and more importantly, he walks like a champ on our hardwood floors!!! AMAZING! Thanks for saving Sullivan!

Hi David,
We are very sorry to hear that the socks caused your dog issues. Our goal is to help not harm so it is very upsetting to hear this. If the Velcro is needed, the best placement is around the ankles mid-way down on the socks (around where you see the logo) and it doesn’t need to be put tight to be effective. It is also important to give your dog breaks especially overnight. Thank you for the feedback and we hope that you will be able to use the socks injury free moving forward.
Thanks
Ann-Marie

These non-slip socks were well made and very functional. However, they can slip so the product includes velcro straps. Unfortunately we placed the strap over our dog’s front “hook claw” which, unknown to us, drove the claw into his leg causing a massive infection and put our guy into a great deal of pain.
We’re Dog Quality believers but this needs be addressed somehow in the product instructions

This is good quality shoes that my Peant like to wear inside and outside. We got tile all over my house and his a year old 80 pound mix golden with no hip. This is perfect for any dog living in the house with most covered with tiles. Makes them safe and prevent any future damages. Love this and I’m going to order another one in XXL size.

The customer service was fantastic, the grippers are great they however do slide around on Cody’s paws with the understanding of his medical condition I am trying new ways to keep them on him. I now have taken two of the velcro straps one on the upper and one more close to the paw. I know I cannot let him wear them outside because he toes under they would be in shredds. I have gone through so many paw protectors it is unreal. The grippers are great inside if I can figure out other ways to keep them on. This size fits, where the other size did not.
Again it is his medical condition. Thank you, Deborah Warner

Our 13 year old Weim has a little trouble on our hardwood floors; as soon as I put her new socks on, we noticed how much more stable she was walking on the slick surface. I definitely have to use the straps to keep them from coming off. They do twist on her; but, that doesn’t seem to bother her at all, and they still grip. Nice quality.

Hi Lynn,
Sorry to hear. I can tell you from experience that almost all Boxers, even large males, wear our size large. Once in a while we see a very large boxer go up to the XL but it is very rare and never as big as XXL. If you still have the larges on hand I do encourage you to try them again. They need to fit snug and will stretch. Also the socks are very deceiving in that they look very small but fit much bigger then they look. Worth trying again to see if what you have could still work.
Thanks
Ann-Marie

I got these in April in anticipation of my Boxer’s back legs failing. Now that she needs them, they do not fit — way too small. I put a hole in one trying to slide over her foot. I cannot get them on. It is a Large size which is recommended; however, I am now going to order the XXL as these seem to run way small. I wish I would have tried them on her in April when they were received. They are well made and should do the trick on my slippery wood floors if they fit her right.

Hi Tamara,
Sorry to hear but if your dog is able to walk out of the socks that easily I can confidently say they are too big. Fit is super important and it needs to be nice and snug like a well-fitted glove. If you could tell us your Doberman’s weight and paw width we would be happy to work with you to get you the correct size.
Thanks
