Best Non Slip Dog Socks
Please Contact Us for Sizing Assistance to Ensure the Best Fit for Your Dog
Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

These boots stay on so well. Our Pomeranian had a serious back injury and now has trouble walking on tiles or hardwood flooring. These boots give him the grip and stability he needs to run around our house again.
I would definitely recommend them.

Hi Catherine,
Socks do naturally twist but with the right fit they shouldn’t twist too much. Would it be possible to get a photo of your dog wearing the socks so we can assess the fit?
Thanks
Ann-Marie

Not sure. I have a big dog (>90 lbs). Must use velcro straps to secure but boot part seems to twist. Maybe I don’t have them on tight enough. When my dog wears them she does get better traction with them.

These work great for my senior dogs. It gives them the confidence and ability to walk on tile and wood floors and go up and down the stairs. I would really recommend them for anyone with dogs that have issues on slippery floors. They are easy to get on and off and my dogs (wirehaired Pointing Griffons) keep them on just fine.

They saved my pooch from sliding all over the hardwood floors and most importantly assist him to get up. Best product ever!

I think it’s a good product but my dogs toe nails snag on the inside fabric making it hard to get in the bootie.
After I get the darn things on they are great.

The dog socks appear to be well made and seem like a good idea. The challenge for the manufacturer however is to produce a product that fits dogs of all sizes. In our case, the boots didn’t work.
We have a Corgi that needed some help with traction for her rear feet. The breed has short legs and large haunches that taper down to small feet, especially in the rear. This means that the boots are difficult to put on and tend to slip off easily. So they were worth trying but were not a product that we would buy again. We did not assign a star rating for the boots but took the time to offer this feedback in hopes its useful to the manufacturer and potential customers..

Definitely worth having. My old dog gets around much better on my tile and hardwood floors. The velcro straps are not great, have to readjust pretty often and they get fuzz in them and come undone. Also, these are better for inside use — after a week outside one had developed a hole in the rubber.

Elderly cavalier was ice skating on our hardwood floors. These saved him, literally! Bought a medium for him, 30 pounds and 2.5 inch paws.

Couldn’t use them. Ordered a size too small for my Corgi & decided that even a larger size would be problematic. She’s losing function in both hind legs (a spine problem) & she would not tolerate the pushing & pulling on her legs to get them on. So I returned them & received a prompt refund! I wish they had worked.
