Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

My Leo is a golden retriever who will be 12 next month. He was having a difficult time walking, his back legs were slipping and I was just so heartbroken. I tried giving him all types of supplements to help him but it didn’t make much difference until I found online your company. Leo slipped and we couldn’t get him up, this was the time we needed to try out these socks. We put it on and he got right up and started walking fine. I jumped up and down with excitement. This is the best product to purchase if you have a senior dog or if they are having a difficult time with their legs. My only regret was I wished I knew about these socks sooner.

I brought the socks for my dog about 2 weeks ago after he injured his spine a month ago. He only wore the socks on his back legs about twice a day during short walks. Since he is still recovering from his injury, I only let him walk a block or two before I put him back in the stroller. After 2 weeks of use, the junction between the rubber and the cloth already have holes in which his hair can easily come through. I consider this inferior quality control. The rubber sole on the bottom is great and no problem.

We only use the grippers for my 17 yr. olds back paws as that’s where his trouble was with slipping on our wood floors. The grippers worked very well and we are pleased with them.
I also keep them on when he goes outside instead of taking them on and off. I do take them off at night so his paws breath.
They are holding up very well and we haven’t had any issue with them coming off. I would definitely buy them again!

I bought the Grippers non-slip socks for my almost 15 year old dog. She has trouble standing because of weak hips. These socks have given her the stability to be able to get up without constantly slipping, and have improved her quality of life for sure. I am so glad to have found the Dog Quality website:)

My dog is 15 years old and has been slipping on our wood floors for a while now. I tried another kind of non slip socks but the socks kept slipping around her foot so the non skid part ended up on top. Then I found these and tried them. What a lifesaver. She walks all over now with no problem. Thank you for a great product.

As it turned out she is doing okay without them right now so I haven’t used them. I kept them because they fit her well and she may appear to need them down the road.
