Best Non Slip Dog Socks
Please Contact Us for Sizing Assistance to Ensure the Best Fit for Your Dog
Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

It took awhile to figure out how to keep the socks in place with the Velcro bands that came with the product. Once we got the hang of pulling them up high and securing the bands, it worked out OK. They have to be taken off at night and it’s a bit of a pain to get them back on, but it does what it needs to do.

Hi Karla,
Thanks for your comments. The socks are washable and if you ensure that you give your dog breaks especially overnight you will find that will help a great deal.

If they get wet they can stink to high heaven! I thought my poor dog had **** or something… Turns out what stank was wet booties. Would be useful if the rubber would go a little higher. With my 10 lb dog we need 2 people to put them on. I wonder if a crocheted bootie with the rubber would be less stinky…

Bought these for my 140lb dog who had some knee issues and hates the hard floors in our house. These work fantastic! Over they stretch out a little they’re easier to get on. And machine washable! Would definitely but again.

Excellent product. They allow my senior golden retriever to walk safely on our laminate floors. The Velcro straps are good quality and last.
I have ordered my second set of socks and straps to have on hand.

We are very happy with the socks. They help our 15 year old golden retriever get around easily on our hardwood floors. He is not bothered at all by them. Great product!

Our home has hardwood floors throughout. Clarke, our 15+ year old black lab with no history of hip issues was having increasing trouble with his hind legs while maneuvering around on them. We feared that the end could be near for him due to his issues. Seen the Grippers non-slip dog socks while Christmas shopping on-line and figured we’d give them a try. We slipped them on him Christmas morning and he has been wearing them every since. What a difference. No more troubles getting around on the slippery hardwood floors. He keeps them on when we let him out in the backyard but take them off when we take him for walks. The Grippers have been a life saver for Clarke and would most definitely recommend this product to any dog lover. FIVE STARS!!!

Hi Sue,
I am sure we can resolve. Most times when the socks are sliding around like what you described it is a sizing issue. If you could email us with your dog’s breed, weight and paw width (measured while he or she is standing) we would be happy to help.
Thanks
Ann-Marie

Overall I like the style of the product, however, I could not get these to stay in place no matter what I did – the issue is the bottom rubber or whatever it is, does not stay on the bottom – it turns itself up to the top of my dog’s fee – thus she is then sliding and falling on the sock material. I cannot use and felt I wasted my money. As an added note – yes I did try with the Velcro as well – they do not stay on bottom of feet.
