Best Non Slip Dog Socks
Please Contact Us for Sizing Assistance to Ensure the Best Fit for Your Dog
Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

Heidi will be 13 this June and before she was 2 she had her first patella surgery, she had her second patella surgery before she turned 5. In 2013 at the age of 6 1/2 she tore her CCL and we knew her future would hold mobility issues for her the older she got. She still does really good but has a hard time getting herself up when she chooses to lay on the hardwood floor. In addition to the floors being slick, with her being a Papillon her hair between her paw pads seems to grow quicker than I can keep it cut. The gripper socks have been wonderful to help her have the ability to get traction from going from laying to standing and when her hair is starting to get a little long between her paw pads, she can still stand solidly without a foot or two sliding. Thank you for another great product!

Perfect for our 18 year old senior dog, especially in a home with tile and hardwood floors. The customer service was some of the very best I have ever experienced. Absolutely recommend this product !

This is my second pair of Grippers. The first pair that I purchased was to small, so I ordered the next size larger. The product is great!!! I have an older dog,
(15 1/2 year old cavalier) that struggles to keep his rear legs from spreading out when trying to walk on our wood floors. I put on the socks and my pup had instant success in navigating around the house. I would strongly recommend the Grippers to anyone whose dog needs a little extra traction. They are a plus for enhanced mobility.

Our dog loves his Grippers! He is now confident to wander all over the house. It has definitely improved his quality of life as well as ours! Putting them on his paws took some effort in the beginning but practice makes perfect. Now I can have them on all four paws in just a few minutes. He picked up on the new routine almost immediately and works with me to get them on his feet before leaving the bedroom every morning. I plan to buy another set so we have a spare for laundry day!

A little difficult to put on but they serve the purpose, we have to use the velcro strips to make sure he can’t get them off.

Whiskey is more confident in coming down our stairs and going up with them on. His feet do not splay out

I love them. I have an old Standard poodle and he loves wearing them on my slippery tile floors. I use them also to walk outside when it gets hot in Arizona.

Hi Laura,
Thanks for your review. Sizing can be challenging and takes into consideration several factors including breed, weight and paw width. The bigger the dog, the thicker the paws so we need to look at several factors in selecting the best size.
Our chart is very accurate and we do encourage people to reach out for help to ensure you get the best size since not every dog fits nicely into a category. For example you may have a dog that measures for a size on our chart in terms of their paws, but does not line up with the weight we indicate. That will impact sizing and we are happy to assist. We have helped thousands of dogs and have a lot of knowledge as to what size will work best so we encourage you to reach out for assistance. The info we would need is breed, weight and paw width (measured while standing) to confirm the best size.
One more comment I will make is that our socks look smaller than they fit. Many customers look at them and feel they would not be able to get them on their dogs paws, but often they have the perfect size and it is more about practice and getting the socks to stretch a bit to find they have the best fit.
I do hope you will email us with your dog’s info so we can help resolve the sizing issues you are having.
Thanks again
Ann-Marie

The product is great, but the sizing chart is off. Socks were way too small even though I followed the size chat.
