Best Non Slip Dog Socks
Please Contact Us for Sizing Assistance to Ensure the Best Fit for Your Dog
Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

I give them 5 stars for quality materials and eye appeal, but we can’t keep them on. My little dog’s stay on better, but my Golden Retriever’s front feet apparently need to be one size bigger than her back feet because the front socks don’t stay on at all and they don’t fit right. When we had the XXL the front feet fit well, but were too big for the back feet.

I’ll admit, I was a bit apprehensive when I first considered buying these for our Golden Retriever, Ben. We had tried putting paw protectors on him before, and he absolutely hated it… he stood in one spot and refused to move. Fast forward a few years… Ben is now 14 and has trouble getting around on our tile floors. We ordered an extra large set for him. They ended up being too large… the Grippers bunched up and twisted around and flat out didn’t work. I went ahead and reached out to the awesome team at Grippers who sent me a size large replacement set. This set fit way better, and helped Ben tremendously. Like us, he was apprehensive at first, but quickly realized the Grippers helped him get around. For the first time in about 2 years, he was able to get up off the tile on his own. He now wears the Grippers almost 24-7, we only remove them before his walks. In summary, these work as advertised! Ben is mobile again, and is definitely walking with more swagger and confidence. I’m happy to endorse this product and strongly encourage you to try these for your senior dog. Thank you Grippers!

Our dog is 105 lbs. so we bought the size indicated on the website. While the foot portion of the sock would fit his paw, they were impossible to get on him. The opening (ankle part) was way too small and tight to fit over his paw. I made several attempts and then had to enlist my husband to help. He had to hold our dog’s leg while I tried to get them on him – after several more attempts we finally gave up.

Our senior dog is benefitting from his new socks. We have wood and tile floors in our home, and our 14 year old golden retriever was having a hard time getting up while lying down. We purchased socks from Dog Quality, and to our surprise, he wasn’t at all bothered by wearing them! The socks help him get a grip while getting up, and reduce the stress on his legs from sliding. Anything that helps our boy at this stage of his life is a blessing, thank you!

Cons: the pattern stitched into the socks are like those of any sock.. the stitching becomes loose on the inside which causes my dogs nails to catch and pull when we put them on. I routinely trim my pups nails, they’re not long by any standards.
Pros: they give my dog the confidence to walk through the house, she has two bad rear knees which send her sprawling on the slippery floors. These socks stay on fairly well. We only adjust them a couple times during the day and always off at night or when she’s left alone. The Velcro is fine which makes them stick really well without them being bulky or worrying about the kids getting scratched up. She leaves them on!! That was our biggest worry and she warmed up the socks by the end of the first day. We only wear on her rear legs as the front she still tries to take off, plus this gives us two sets to use ;). They rubberized sole has withstood lots of playing and differening textures.
I absolutely recommend these socks, I just wish the paw pattern wasn’t on the socks. I believe they would hold up longer and be less cumbersome to put on.

I bought these because my 11 year old yorkie ruptured his doggy ACL and we decided to try rehab before surgery. His leg was no longer strong enough to hold himself- much less on wood floors! These socks helped keep his feet grounded during his rehabilitation and actually stayed on. He started taking them off so we used the Velcro strap and they worked perfectly. Would definitely buy again!

I bought these for my 9-1/2 year old Boxer who has Degenerative Myelopathy and is losing control over his back legs. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical, but our breeder recommended these. I am now a true believer! We only have them on his back legs and right away they mad a difference. He walks so much better with them, and isn’t slipping and sliding on our wood floors. I would certainly recommend them.
