Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

Our 16 year old cairn Terrier, Ozzie, was really having problems controlling his front legs on our tile floors. My 16 year old Jack Russell has been having a rough time on the kitchen floor and hardwood floors in the house. I tried the sticky foot pads put throw rugs down and my little fella still falls down and he gets so exhausted trying to stand back up. But with the gripper socks he rolling again. I’m so happy for him and if you’re on the fence don’t hesitate buy them they are super great. Wold like to see them in some bright colors and just a touch longer in length may be 1/4 inch. These gripper socks are right as rain.

Ordering from your site was easy and the product arrived quickly but unfortunately, the Gripper Non Slip dog socks did not work for me.
My rat terrier has long legs and the socks constantly slide off, even when using the velcro straps. While the paw pad fits well, the sock area needs to be a few inches longer to allow it to sit above my dog’s leg joint.

These have kept my almost 17 y.o. beagle walking as safely and comfortably as she can on hardwood floors and pavement outside. She has severe spinal issues, toes under a lot with her back paws, and loses her balance easily if her footing is unsure. These give her more confidence in walking and help stabilize her footing. So glad I found these!

I have a German Shorthair Pointer who is 12 years old and has DM 🙁 The dragging of his rear feet made his toenails bleed from the cement outside. These work excellent. And the wood floors thoughout the house were a major issue. He fell A LOT due to the leg weakness. These help him stand and walk much better. Definitely buy them! I bought him a large and they’re just right.

The little gripper socks are perfect. The folks at Dog Quality helped me get the correct size for my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Ruby. She has very fluffy paws and I had to size up 2 sizes. Their customer service was wonderful!!

Our old friend is getting to be quite weak, especially in her back legs. She wears these booties on her back feet only and they have really helped her keep her feet under her when standing/walking on hard floors. Can’t recommend them enough.

Surprisingly the grippers have worked from the start for my dog. I did have an issue with my mixed breed dog having very different paw sizes (front paws much larger than the rear paws) and customer service was quick to respond and help me get the correct size. My senior dog has had no issue with the grippers. They have definitely helped her get around my wood floors and steps a lot better.
