Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

Our Chesapeake has DM and has trouble walking on our hardwood floors and drags his left hind leg. The Grippers socks have enabled him to get some traction and protect his dragging foot. He took to them almost immediately and is a much more confident and comfortable dog. We have no issues with them coming off when we use the velcro straps and even use them on hikes. They get muddy, but we just wash them, and they’ve held up very well! He wears them to his physical therapy classes and the vet was highly impressed with these socks and plans to recommend them to her other clients. They have transformed our lives, and we love them!

We purchased dog gripper socks for our elderly dog who has a hard time standing on wooden floors. With the grippers on he has a new perspective on life. He can walk and stand with out slipping and falling over. Has been a very good product for him and us. The only negative thing is the Velcro either is not sticky enough or long enough as they do not keep the socks on very long!

Our dog uses the grippers on his rear paws to keep from slipping on our wood floors. They work very well.

Unfortunately, they did not work for my senior dog. They were difficult to get on and they kept slipping down, even with the Velcro on fairly tight. When she tried to get up off the hard floor, she still slipped.

Excellent. After putting them on for the first time, my dog was able to run in the house instead of cautiously walking and trying to keep from falling. Maybe my dog is just really hard on them, but they have started to fall apart (her claws have poked holes through the silicone coating and the silicone coating is peeling off in some other areas), so I am ordering some new ones after about 4 months of wear. They also fall off sometimes, even with the Velcro, but overall, they have been a great product!

I bought a set for each of my seniors. They work great and help them get up and stay up on our tile floors. They wash easily and stay on their feet. Definitely would recommend these.

Our dog is 14 1/2. She is losing use of her hind legs. We have moved and our floors are hard wood. It is like an ice skating rink to her. She was slliding and falling and ultimately would not leave area rugs. In a last ditch effort we bought these little booties. No adjustment period, she took off and went on the floors and loved them!! It was like we gave her a new lease on life. No more falling and she could finally walk from place to place. She does not have long but at least we have extended her quality of life.
