Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

We have a very old Bichon who, without his Grippers, would be doing splits on the living room floor! Even though he will only let us put them on his two back feet, it helps a lot. (He is clearly a rear-wheel drive pup.) Even so, they are really helping him move with much more confidence! Many thanks for a great product that really helps!

I’ve got an old lab that has trouble walking on my hardwood floors. I would literally have to pick his hindquarters up so he could stand. I gave these a try and they have become essential to him keeping his independence. They stay on and grip well. They have lasted several months now. I definitely recommend.

Excellent! Our old boy will be 14 years old next month and is being treated for cancer at OSU for the past two years. Although he is a Labradoodle he has the “Lab Hips” he needed more security on our wood floors and the tile at OSU. The dog socks have helped! I would recommend these to help under any circumstances!!

I have now bought three pairs, and by mistake ordered the same size twice – did I really do that? Either way I have a cocker with different size front and back paws, and now I need to buy another pair that is larger for his front paws. The socks are great for him, when I get the right size.

Bought the socks for our old girl but got sick unexpectedly and we had to let her go before the socks arrived.
I didn’t want to even receive them because obviously I didn’t want the reminder. I contacted the company to see if I could just mail them back so they could give to someone else and was told to keep them and donate them to an animal rescue. They also refunded me for them which was way beyond generous.
I’m very great full for their kindness and compassion. They’re exactly how businesses should be run.

Our 16 year old dog started having a lot of trouble on our wood laminate floors. The Grippers fit great and immediately gave him his confidence back. I expected a period of adjustment but he had no trouble with them right away. We didn’t bother to take them off when he went outdoors and they held up fine. Overall a great product!

I purchased the XXS for me toy poodle. According to the size guide this was her size. I thought they were a bit small, so I emailed the company. We chatted back and forth and I was still not sure if I should exchange for the XS. We ended the conversation with me making no decisions. I later received an email that the XS was shipped with no charge so I could try the next size then return the size I did to need. Turns out my girl is in-between sizes so I decided to keep both pair. She is 18 1/2, blind, deaf, and thanks to these awesome gripper socks she can walk around the house without falling.
