Best Non Slip Dog Socks
Please Contact Us for Sizing Assistance to Ensure the Best Fit for Your Dog
Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

We’ve had a very good experience with these. My 14-year old Cavalier King Charles doesn’t mind me putting them on him, and they really help him get around on our hardwood and tile floors.

My elderly Shih Tzu has been struggling to keep her balance on my wood floors. These gripper socks have been so wonderful! They are really easy to get on and have given her a lot more confidence. She has confidence not only inside but also outside on dry days!
I also have Dog Quality’s diapers which are amazing as well as the Dogger which is without equal in the market!

We had an old 18 year old Shih Tzu who has now passed. She was suffering from a loss of muscle mass in her hind legs and the Grippers did give her some extra grip in her front paws to give her some more confidence in getting around.
I would like for there to be some alternative design for the hind legs for those dogs that no longer use their rear pads as much as they used to with more grip down the length of the Grippers. For our instance this would have been useful.
Thanks for giving back some extra mobility to my old lady in her last few months.

The best I have tried so far, still slip off even with velcro. She has already lost one, we think she ate it!!

These lasted about an hour, if that. Don’t want to give 5 stars because they didn’t work. Don’t want to give 1 star because it’s probably not your fault. Just didn’t work for my dog.

I won’t be using these again. My 50 pound dog slipped all over my hardwood floors.

Wasn’t able to use the grippers on my dog due to improper sizing. Although I followed the measuring directions they were way too small, in fact they barely fit on my fingers!

Purchased “correct size” and then couldn’t get it on my dog’s hind foot. Purchased next size up — and I’m on a very rigid, small income — and those socks are too big. DogQuality told me to stretch out the too-small socks on a pill bottle, so I did. The sock went on my dog’s foot and slid off again immediately. So I’m out $40 bucks and my dog has dragging sores on his feet. There doesn’t seem to be a solution here.

My pug Banzai is 14 years old and within the past 2-3 months has been having hip problems and issues walking on and getting up from the hard flooring. His hips give out and he “splats” onto the floor, poor guy. After using grippers socks for about a month now, he’s like a different dog. Banzai zooms around the house and no longer falls down as much which is amazing! He is 26lbs, and wears a size small in the socks. Banzai doesn’t like having his feet touched, but now with the socks (and peanut butter as a reward), he’s gotten used to it and tolerates me putting them on him! In the photos he has them on his back feet only, but I’ve begun to put the front two socks on as well and he does great with them all. The only bummer is needing to take the socks off to go outside in the snow but that’s a very minor issue. Overall I highly recommend.
I also had a wonderful experience with customer service as I first ordered a size too small for him. Dog Quality were so helpful and kind with my issue in sizing and were able to send me the correct size the same week I received the original pair.

Gripper socks saved our boy! Our 14 year old Sheltie was having a tough time staying upright on our wood floors. He would end up sprawled out unable to get himself upright. He had no objection to having me put the gripper socks on his back legs and confidently took off seemingly knowing that they were just what he needed. I only removed them when he went to bed. They gave his joints a chance to heal and he regained strength. He presently doesn’t need his gripper socks but we keep them handy in case he needs a little assist in the future.
