Best Non Slip Dog Socks
Please Contact Us for Sizing Assistance to Ensure the Best Fit for Your Dog
Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

Got the Grippers for our old man Jack Russell Terrier. Had a little bit of a problem with right size initially but Ann-Marie Fleming continued to work with us to get us the right fit. Great customer service !!!!!

My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel no longer slips on our wood floor. He was having such a hard time especially when eating because his hind feet would slip out to the side. Dog Quality was very responsive and emailed me within the hour after I told them the size ( XS) I had ordered was too small. Within 24 hours a new pair was on its way to me at NO CHARGE! I recommend Cavaliers get a small size.

I bought these out of desperation because our 9-year-old yellow lab has gotten to the point where she’ll refuse to walk across the wood floors to go outside and my husband will have to carry her. I really didn’t think they’d work very well – either she would try to gnaw them off or would refuse to let us put them on.
Well, after the first awkward steps in them, she got the hang of it and realized she had gotten her mobility back. The next time she needed to go out, she whined until we put them on her and then she bounded out the door! By the way, the socks also assist her nicely when she wants to lie down on a hard floor, because she can control her descent better. She doesn’t fuss with them at all!
Our lab Stella is 70 pounds and although her paw width measurement seemed to match a size XL, the size Large are the best fit. Well worth the money!

First off it took 2 weeks to receive them. Meanwhile, my boxer continued to slip and fall on our hardwood floors…grrrrr!! Then when we got them, they didn’t fit…nice. Out of desperation we tried to keep them on him but they kept sliding down. He lost them in the yard in the first 30 min he had them. Ridiculous.
Dog Quality Response:
We have had great success with Boxers so the size that you ordered must be too big if they are sliding off. We’d be happy to send you a new size free of charge. Please reach out so we can ensure we get you the best size to help your Boxer.

Our dog loves the socks. He slips on the hardwood stairs , and has such a difficult time getting downstairs. The socks are very helpful and I think that he likes them.
He has, however, lost two of them. As long as I can have them on the back feet, he is pretty good to go.

We are very happy to hear they are working well for your Labradoodle. You can machine or hand wash the socks in cold water, but avoid the dryer.

I was a little confused about sizing chart and ordered Grippers too small for my 65 lb Lab mix. I received them within a week and realized I had made a mistake. I emailed Ann Marie who got back to me immediately and she is sending out the XL size today !
THIS IS WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALL ABOUT !
All who visit the site are obviously dog lovers who care about their aging best friends, well you came to the right place as Ann Marie also cares about dogs as much as we do.
Can’t wait to give Abbey the grippers and stop seeing her struggle to get up off the wood floors.

Our 14+ year old Maltese/Shih Tzu could not walk on our brand new 5″ hardwood flooring. He fell every couple of steps. In addition, he has two very bad hips. We were constantly worried he would break a leg or hip. The gripper socks were wonderful. He accepted them right away, and we discovered he only needed socks for his back legs. At first they slipped off now and then, but on average he keeps them on all day and night. If one falls off, he waits for someone to fix it because he does not enjoy slipping all over the place. He is not so receptive to socks for the front legs, but he does not need them. The only poor comment; the socks cost nearly as much to ship as the cost to purchase. But, thank you Gripper Socks! You made our little “Jack’s” quality of life 100% better. We hope to have him safely in our family for several more wonderful years. Other than feeling slightly embarrassed, he truly seems to enjoy wearing them.

It took a few tries, but I’ve finally found the best size for my elderly cavalier. He used to be 22 lbs. but is now about 16. I ordered two sets. The medium fit his back feet perfectly, and he wears a size small on the front. This way, I have a spare pair when one set is being washed. They work amazingly well to give him traction on non carpeted interior surfaces.
