Best Non Slip Dog Socks
Please Contact Us for Sizing Assistance to Ensure the Best Fit for Your Dog
Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

We are amazed at how easy our old gal adapted to these socks. She spent the first evening just walking around. Without the grippers she would have fallen many times.

Our dog Cooper is a 11.5 year old Standard Schnauzer who has weak back legs – and we have hard wood floors. So I’m sure you can see what he has to deal with when getting up. These Gripper no slip socks are a God send. He grumbles when we put them on. But I tell you he knows they work. He seems happier knowing he can even play with daddy without slipping and ending up slayed four legs out on the floor.
They are a wonderful product AND best of all, they are Canadian made. I’d recommend them for anyone who’s dog is getting older, weaker but still are young at heart – and lives in a home with slippery floors.
I thank you, my hubby thanks you but mostly, Cooper our very proud ol’ Schnauzer thanks you.

I got a set of these for my 7 yr old GSD last summer and they were fabulous! The velcro got congested with hair and wouldn’t stay on anymore so the socks fell off and my younger dog ate a couple of them. I went to the neighbourhood pet shop and got a new set but they were too small, even in the XXL. Dogquality’s Grippers were a true fit and Stella was very happy to be able to trot around on my wood floors.

Our 11 year old golden retriever has hip displaysia and it is very difficult for her to get her back end up from a lying down position while on the hardwood floors (which we have throughout the house). We’ve tried various dog socks and dog boots and none work as well as Grippers — they give her the traction she needs to get her back end up much more easily, and therefore it much less strain for her. The traction pad goes all the way around the sock so if they get twisted, she can still get up easily. I ordered on set to try them — and have just ordered two more sets so she has them for inside, outside and backup! They fit very snuggly and don’t fall down or twist like others we’ve tried. Excellent product, excellent service and excellent price. Thanks!

Grippers are amazing – totally change the quality of life for my “furry baby”. Tasha, 14 yrs old, was unable to stand up on our terrazzo floors. With the grippers on her rear paws she is back to her younger days. So impressed I am purchasing more to give as Christmas gifts. Happy Holidays!

Bought these for our German Shepherd and Rottweiler dogs. Dog’s aren’t bothered at all by the socks. Works very well…gives them the traction they need on the hardwood floors, and protects the floors from scratches.
Very impressed.
Only one minor issue, the dogs nails keep getting caught on the paw print logo/embroidery on the inside when putting the socks on. Other than that, these socks are perfect. Will be buying more…

I bought these for my 16-year-old bichon frise who’s been slipping and sliding on my hardwood floors constantly. His inability to walk stably aggravated his herniated disc in his neck, which was extremely painful. He was so scared to hurt himself that he refused to leave his crate for nearly two weeks. The second he put the grippers on and started walking around, he was a different dog. He was soooooooo happy and confident. He literally strut around the apartment for an hour, wagging his tail and smiling. These grippers are a godsend. Thank you so much!!!

Our dog, Sputnik, tore his right rear ACL a few weeks ago and the biggest thing that was impeding his healing was that he kept slipping on our hardwood floors and re-injuring himself. I searched online for dog socks and decided to try Grippers, based on the fact that the non-skid coating is on all sides of the socks. When they came, a friend who had come over for coffee helped me put them on Sputnik’s feet and…off he went! (I have since mastered putting them on by myself, and Sputnik lifts his feet to help now) Honestly, within a couple of minutes he figured out that he was not slipping and by the time my husband came home that evening, he was running to the door to greet him. I only use them on Sputnik’s back feet, because his front feet are not an issue for him. I will say, however, that usually by evening he is ready to take them off and if I don’t remove them, he will take them off himself, so my advice is to not keep them on for more than10 hours at a time and let your dog sleep without them. But honestly, without finding these I think we would have been looking at a $2,500 surgery to repair his ACL, which now seems to be healing on its own. I will be ordering another pair for Sputnik whenever these wear out. One other thing is that they look a bit like black spats (shoes from the 1920’s) which is pretty adorable.

We have an elderly Pointing Griffon who is experiencing weakness in his hind legs. He has slipped several times on the hardwood floor and has become anxious to the point of not wanting to even walk to his food bowl. We laid down strips of carpet to make safe runways of sorts but he was not buying in to that! He had become a virtual prisoner on the area rug. We began the difficult conversation about have to put him down sooner than later. As a last ditch effort and based on the reviews of others, we ordered a set of Grippers (large). They arrived today. Although our old fellow was resistant to getting them put on and he “high stepped” around for a few minutes, in no time at all, he settled into this new feeling on his feet. Imagine our surprised when we saw him RUN on the hardwood. He has got his confidence back after a few short hours and has a new lease on life. I took them off and put them back on again to gauge his resistance and he willingly complied with the second wearing.
This was money well spent – thank you so much, Dog Quality!!

Love these socks for my dog! They protect my hardwood floor and keep her safe from sliding! The sizing guide details for length and width really helped . FYI I got size large for my labradoodle, she is husky but does not have a massive sized length and width foot.
The socks seem comfortable to her as she does not try to take them off. They only seem to slip off if she goes outside with them on and starts to run around too much. I usually slip them off during those times.
My recommendation for manufacturer are more color choices :).
Will be buying a few extra pairs before these wear out ;).
