Best Non Slip Dog Socks
Please Contact Us for Sizing Assistance to Ensure the Best Fit for Your Dog
Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

Our 11 year old Old English Sheepdog has been failing for the past year. His balance was deteriorating and we tried multiple types of socks. The problem worsened until we found Grippers. He is now more stable. Walks although still slow are possible. We now feel as if he will continue to part of our family for many months to come.
The customer service department was exceptional. When an error was encountered the personalized approach, which included e-mails from the owner and even a telephone call from a distribution manager went well beyond what was expected.
This is a great product from a wonderfully run company.
Thank you Dog Quality people for giving us more time with our dog.

Hilarious, each time I put them on it takes 5 – 10 minutes for them to walk properly.
Easy to put on providing you get the correct size so measure carefully.
We just had our floors re-sanded and polished so these socks are definitely slip free, nice and flexible for ease of putting on and comfort for your pouch.
Both my dogs are large.

Senior Dog parents be warned – there are dog socks available at pet stores for half the price of what Dog Quality sells theirs for. These cheaper socks are extremely dangerous for your senior Dog because they have the anti-slip only on one side so if they twist around on the Dogs feet, they are like ice skates and completely defeat the purpose of an anti-slip sock.
Then like a blessing, I discovered Dog Quality! Dog Quality’s Grippers are the John Deere’s and Cadillac’s of dog socks! I can’t say enough about these serious rockin’ socks. You have provided us with quality of Dog life that Jersey deserves. She romps around the hardwood with no trouble at all! The exceptional Velcro straps are added insurance that these socks stay on; however, you may not need them at all because the sock elastic is well made and it keeps the socks up. If you use the velcro straps, you have to be sure to not put them on too tight and hamper with the paw blood circulation.
If I can make one suggestion, I would love to see funky sock colours! Jersey’s favourite colour is red! 🙂 I would also suggest that you include better info (pictures, perhaps a short video) on sizing the sock; I myself found the current info to be a bit confusing. Fortunately, their Staff were so helpful in sizing up Jersey to a tee!
I have told my chiropractor (also works on animals; particularly senior ones), our vet and anyone else who I know who has a senior Dog about Dog Quality! 🙂

I thought it was pretty likely that my dog would hate these, but I had to give them a try just in case. Fortunately, I was wrong! These have been fantastic for him. He no longer looks like Bambi when he jumps off the couch. The first night he wore them, one came off and he walked around looking for it and stared at it until I put it back on him. He is able to have stable footing when he is walking now and looks much more comfortable.

Our 70 lb, 10 year old American Bulldog has suffered from greatly reduced mobility with her fairly severe hind leg weakness. We have hardwood floors, and this seems to make it 10x worse. Her legs just slip right out from under her. We got the idea for ‘gripping’ socks, started looking online and decided on these. SO glad we did. They have made it so much easier for her to get around. The problem with her legs flying out from under her has virtually been eliminated. We feel so much better that this dog can now get around the house comfortably and safely! Great product.

I have an eleven yr old Golden doodle. He has arthritis in the hips and with my hardwood floors it was so hard for him to stand up. i came across these socks and thought i would give them a try. Read all the reviews and they seemed to work. Believe me, they do. i am ordering a second pair as we are about to wear out his first pair. My dog has never offered to remove them. i think he must realize how much they help. Can’t say enough good things about them.

I have a 9-year old chow/terrier mix that started going lame in her hind quarters a few years ago. To make matters worse, all of my floors are TILE. I tried many types of braces, etc., but they really didn’t help her.
These socks are a Godsend. She has so much more stability now. I even leave them on her when she’s outside in the yard and I really think she’s come to rely on them. They make her feel secure.
If you’re considering trying them, please rest assured that they will help your dog get some traction and feel more confident. My dog didn’t even flinch when I put them on her for the first time. She never tried to chew them off or anything. She never touched them. It’s almost like she knew I was putting them on to help her.
I will be ordering these for the rest of her life. I like to have a few sets at all times. At that price – I can afford to.
Try them — you will not be disappointed.

Hi Marguerite,
The best placement for the Velcro is around Wolfie’s ankles mid-way down on the socks. Please give that a try and let us know if it resolves your issue.
thanks

I just got the socks for my German shepherd, Wolfie. He doesn’t mind them at all. They fit perfect, but as he walks, one of them starts sliding down. Where do I put the velcro straps? There are no pictures showing this on the package insert.

This is the best accessory I ever bought for my dog. He’s using them everyday when he’s inside the house. No need to use them outside. As I live in The Caribbean I thought they would be warm and that he will take them off but no way! The minute I put his grippers on he starts running around. He enjoys his grippers for sure. Just ordered a set again :grinning:. Marla
