Best Non Slip Dog Socks
Please Contact Us for Sizing Assistance to Ensure the Best Fit for Your Dog
Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

Purchased these for Gina, our 9-year-old Bullmastiff with IVDD. We don’t have any carpeting in our home, all wood and tile floors. It was heartbreaking watching her legs splay out trying to get up or walk. I looked into many products before purchasing Grippers. I can’t say enough about these socks or the customer service from Dog Quality. This has made a world of difference for our old girl. It has given her mobility back.
Just a note for some others, we were having trouble keeping the socks up even with the Velcro, but I found that folding the sock down over the Velcro solved this.

My 12 yr old Labrador retriever has difficulty walking on our tile and hardwood floors. My sister, who fosters senior dogs, recommended them to me.These dog socks sound wonderful and have such good reviews, I really want to get some but the XXL size he needs, is out of stock 🙁 When will they be available for order? Please let me know how or when I can get some. Thank you!

My dog, Mister, who used to be very active got diagnosed with a large brain tumor. It eventually started to make his legs slip out from underneath him and he could not get up from a laying down position without getting very discouraged and giving up. It was heartbreaking. He wouldn’t go for walks. I have had his Grippers for ONE DAY and he has his life back. We walked over a mile today for the first time in 6 months. I am literally crying tears of joy. Thank you thank you . With love, Jill and Mister

About to buy my third pair of these. My 12 year old GSD has such a rough time walking on our hard wood floors. Her severe arthritis has taken quite the toll on her strength. We had purchased different brands, but this is the ONLY one that I could find that has a 360 grip, which makes all of the difference in the world. Now it doesn’t matter if they rotate around. She always looks at me lovingly when I put these on her, like we both know that it makes our lives better. Thank you for inventing such a wonderful product. My GSD’s life has improved with these!

Our little rat terrier Scout is 15 and her hind legs are giving out. We have hardwood floors throughout the house, and Scout could barely manage a few steps without falling. She would then struggle to get back on her feet. We put a pair of Grippers on her hind legs and suddenly she could walk again. It took a few days for her to regain her confidence, but she is now running through the house with her beagle buddy Annie and even managing the stairs from time to time. It’s great to see her so happy and active again.

These socks work great on the wood floors for my 9 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever. He has Canine Degenerative Mylopathy, which causing him to lose feeling in his back legs (that will eventually progess to the front too). Without these socks on, his legs slip and slid all over the wood floors, to the point where it looks like he’s sliding across a frozen pond! He will literally stay in bed in the morning until I put them on. Unfortunately, my issue is with the front paws. His nails poked through the first pair of socks within the first 3-4 days. I thought maybe they were too long, so I had his nails trimmed and put on a fresh pair. Nope, same thing. His nails are already poking through and it’s only been 3 days! Pretty frustrated with that because I can’t buy a new pair every week. Wish they could somehow reinforce the front paws to help this issue. Otherwise, they are great. He wears them all the time during the day and doesn’t seem to mind!

These booties immediately helped my older dog on the hardwood floors but she us a 140 pound Newfoundland and the XXL just barely fits. I need to take them off to let her paws breathe or she starts to get hot spots between her toes. Otherwise love these!

Love these! But I have a question: how long can he wear them for? Can his foot breathe? What do you recommend in terms of how many hours out of the day he wears them? Thanks so much!
