Best Non Slip Dog Socks
Please Contact Us for Sizing Assistance to Ensure the Best Fit for Your Dog
Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

Have a 14yo Retriever with bad hips and all hardwood floors. He started falling all of the time and often couldn’t even get up. He was lying around all day, stopped trying to get up, and seemed depressed. After buying these he’s active again, and is even chasing my 4yo down the hallway as I write this. Love these and am on my third pair.

Darcey and I are so happy since we got these! We adopted her 8 months ago and she’s 11 years old, 65 lb., has severe arthritis. Our floors are all tile and very slippery since they’re polished porcelain. She must have felt like a prisoner in her own home which makes me very sad. She let me put them all on and then I called her to another area of the house. She got up slowly and within a minute, she realized she could walk without slipping! The 2nd time I put them on her, she started head butting my legs and had a huge smile on her face! I was laughing and she kept smiling and head butting! She’s able to walk all around the house whenever she wants to now. Be sure and take them off at night before going to bed since feet get hot.
These are excellent quality. They’re an investment in your dog’s happiness so don’t get any other brands.

My 14 year old Lab/Golden cross has been wearing the Grippers for a few months now and he would not have a life worth living without them. We have all tile flooring and with out this wonderful innovation for senior dogs, he would not be around today. His quality of life is still fairly good; he still loves to get out and swim and chum around with all his buds, but the most important thing is he has his independence back.

My 10.5 year-old Mastiff was diagnosed with bone cancer and had a rear leg amputated. She adjusted remarkably well, but was constantly slipping on our wood and tile floors. These grippers have solved that problem and Maggie now has run of the house again. She is very happy again as are we. Thanks!

My very tall and lanky American Foxhound (30″ tall!) was having a very hard time on my hardwood and tile. After a couple of falls playing with my grandpups, he decided he wasn’t going to walk on them – ever! I had to go to the extreme of moving his food and water bowls out of the kitchen because he would not come in to eat or drink!
At first, getting them on him was a challenge as he is extremely sensitive and has a phobia about just about everything. My husband and I tag teamed and got the socks on in no time. Within 30 seconds of putting the socks on, he was coming into the family room (hardwoods) with the socks on to get treats. Two of my grandpups were here, too, and that’s when he seemed most afraid because when they get rambunctious, he often falls. He came in with his tail wagging and little anxiety.
The socks were an XXL because his feet are huge and they fit great. They are long enough and there’s enough tacky surface that he can grip the floor without feeling insecure. They included the socks in a ziplock bag with an extra 4 strips of Velcro to tighten them in place, if needed. I had no need for them but it’s nice to know they were included. He has stepped on the socks a couple of times and one would slip off but for the most part, they stay on. I’ve got the whole putting on and taking off down to a science now.
Thanks so much. I’m hoping before long, he’ll be running and playing on the floors like he used to!

I wanted to share the YouTube video I had taken the minute after I first put the Gripper Socks on my American Foxhound – amazing! He was living only in my living room because it was the only room that was all carpet. It was so sad! Finally, something that will help him get over his fear of hard surfaces!

Hi Emmy,
We are so happy to hear and see Lucille doing so well with her Grippers. She seems like such a sweetheart and we are so glad she has you looking out for her. As for sizing I can tell that 99% of Boxers, both male and female, wear size Large. We have had many try the bigger sizes, but since the socks need to fit snug and will stretch they almost always end up going back down to the Large so I am confident Lucille has the best size. Thanks so much for sharing Lucille with all of us.

Lucille, my 15 year old rescued boxer, has been having rear end degeneration every since I got her. In the year I’ve had her, it has worsened to the point that she has to be carried up and down stairs and routinely falls and can’t get up. With a combination of kinesiology tape and the grippers, she can walk more confidently and recover much faster from her missteps. FYI, I think the booties do more than the tape, but she was so miserable I decided to throw everything at her at once.

Apologies for the sideways video. Not sure why I can’t flip it. I definitely did not record in portrait.
FYI, seriously measure your dogs paws. I should have ordered XL or XXL because of how long her paws were. I tried to base it on the standard boxer’s feet and her weight. These still work great.
