Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

As our Lab was getting older, she was having some issues with her back leg stability and our main floor is mostly wood. I did some research and found these socks. They worked fantastically! We only needed them for her back paws, so we basically had 2 spares. They were great for her inside or out, if they got wet or muddy we just threw them in the washer. She wore them during the day when she was up and about, but not at night when she was mostly resting, which would give her paws some time to breath.

When our senior dog (15yo Jack Russell Terrier, Luigi) developed a neurological condition where he is slowly becoming more and more unsteady on his back legs, these Grippers literally saved his life, as he became unable to walk on our slick hardwood floors. Since purchasing the booties, he is able to walk again and does not mind them at all. We just ordered a second set and had a sizing issue, but Carol in the Customer Service dept worked with us to find a solution we were pleased with. She was a pleasure to work with as well. Could not get them on her paws even though the measurements were correct. Tried cutting the elastic part and they still would not fit.

They work so well with the rubber all around and with the velcro strips they stay on. Other socks cannot compare. My Silky Terrier with cataplexy now walks with more confidence. Wish I had bought another pair. Thanks Grippers.

We moved recently from a partly rug based home to a home that has no carpet. Our 9 YO Collie named Buddy has done nothing but slide, slip, and fall on these hard floors ever since we moved. I started searching on the Internet for answers to this problem. I came across your website and ordered your Non Slip Socks and they arrived the other day. Talk about a "Happy Camper"! Hard to get on my dog’s paws and he treads on them with his front paws and pulls them off. I adjust them and is is stopping him from damaging his back legs any more

These are probably great for being non-slip, but my 13 year old pal has poor circulation and the sock part is way too tight. If not for that, it probably is a good gripping sock.
