Grippers™, a Dog Quality product; are non-slip dog socks which give your older dog the traction they need on slippery indoor surfaces such as tile or hardwood. An innovative design provides a grip around the entire paw so even if the socks twist, your dog will continue to have the traction they need. 4 socks per set.
The soft rubber coating creates a waterproof barrier so these dog socks can also be worn outdoors. No more having to take the traction socks on and off each time your dog goes outside. *Please note: Due to the rubber coating Grippers do not provide traction on snow or ice therefore we do not recommend using them in winter conditions.
Both weight and paw measurements are very important in determining the correct size. If your dog does not match the weight category for his paw size, please contact us for sizing assistance. When measuring width please have your dog standing (if possible) and measure flat across the top of the paw at the widest point – please do not measure down the sides. Alternatively, you can have your dog standing on a piece of paper and then mark both sides of the paw and measure the distance between these marks. If your dog is 60 lbs or more we recommend going up one size from where the width lines up with our sizing.
It is difficult for dogs with arthritis and other mobility challenges to remain stable on tile and hardwood and can often fall very hard on these unforgiving floors, so Grippers are a great way to help stabilize them and keep them safely on their feet. More comfortable than dog shoes or dog boots and more protective than regular dog socks, Grippers represent a step forward in dog footwear.

Our 15 year old (now 16!) Golden Retriever became depressed when she lost traction in her hind legs and feet and often had trouble getting up and maintaining balance on hardwood and tile floors. Zippers were a life saver. She still gets “stuck” sometimes due to her underlying physical issues, but she has much greater mobility with this product and her old zest for life has returned. This product literally extended her life.

These boots work great for my 75lb elderly dog. He has issues gaining traction trying to stand up, and they also give him confidence preventing slippage on the tile floors and negotiating stairs. I recommend them for older dogs.

I never received my dog socks. They were shipped Dec. 29 and as of Feb. 1, they hadn’t arrived. When I contacted Dog Quality inquiring about them, she (Carol) double-checked the shipping address was correct then offered to send another pair. I had to tell her our dog passed away 2 weeks after I ordered, so a 2nd pair wasn’t necessary. She then offered condolences on my loss and suggested they refund my purchase. I waited a few more days, then took the offer for a refund. It was issued immediately. If the socks ever show up, I will send them back “Return to Sender”. Once they ship them out, it is not the company’s fault if something happens during shipment. If my next dog needs them, (both previous Labs have had foot injuries that required foot coverage so it’s highly likely) I will definitely order from them again. Thank you Dog Quality!

Our 14 year old Wheaten Terrier wasn’t thrilled when I put these on her for the fist time. Once they were on she was able to get up and move around the house slip free. Without them her back feet slip out from under her when she shakes her head or tries to get up anywhere but the rugs. With these shoes she is much more stable and slip free. She eventually wore through the first pair. Ordering a second Medium pair.

My little Pom is almost 17 years old and was having trouble walking on the hardwood and tile floors. He would slip and not be able to get himself up again. Before I received the socks he could not walk for more than a few feet before slipping and falling due to the hardwood floors and tiles in our home. I had to place carpet runners and other covers on the floor to keep him from sliding. Now all this stuff is gone.
